3K a year 17 hours ago 17 hours ago 17 hours ago Human Resources Specialist (Temporary Assignment for approximately 2-4 months) Position Description This position is primarily located in Fayetteville, TN and will be responsible for the daily functions of the Human Resource (HR) department including hiring and interviewing staff, administering pay, benefits, team member relations, information systems, leave, and enforcing company policies and practices.
Key Responsibilities payroll preparation using ADP, including assistance with completion of the implementation process.
action plans to improve HR KPIs including but not limited to headcount management, absenteeism, turnover, time-to-fill.
benefits, leave administration, workers comp administration, disciplinary matters, disputes and investigations, terminations, performance & productivity, recognition, morale events, and occupational health and safety.
training, including safety, anti-harassment, anti-bribery, anti-theft, substance abuse training etc.
recruitment, interviews, and facilitates internal and external hiring for approved positions including background checks and employee eligibility verifications.
new hire orientation and employee recognition programs.
compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommended best practices.
community involvement.
other duties as assigned.
Requirements / Attributes A Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field with 3
years' experience or master's degree with 1
years' experience SPHR certification preferred Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Ability to manage time with a proven ability to meet deadlines, problem solve, analyze data and adapt quickly Integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality Thorough knowledge of employment-related laws and regulations Proficiency with or the ability to quickly learn HRIS and talent management systems.
Advanced skills in Microsoft Office with emphasis in Excel to include pivot tables and vlookups Experience with ADP; implementation experience desired Must be able to access and navigate each department at the organization's facilities.
