Role You'll edit stories/articles as assigned and turn them in on or before the given deadline.
You're responsible for editing in AP style with our in-house formatting and submitting the stories to the managing editor.
You will also proofread the magazine after it's completed before going to press.
Job Responsibilities Proofread and copy edit articles/stories Submit articles by a given deadline Match our company's format with AP style You should edit with clean, concise, and well-polished accuracy Log time correctly for writing projects Follow all internal processes and workflows Follow directions correctly on all projects, carefully proofing and reviewing your work before submitting it Edit multiple stories as they become available Communicate with the managing editor and keep them up to date on article progress or other issues Maintain a friendly, cordial, and courteous relationship with our subjects, your creative service team members, our sales staff, and our vendors Seek continuous improvement as a proofreader and as a storyteller You're expected to work 40 hours a week Job Type:

The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
